The engine was steamed for the first time since 1981 on the 16th February.  It is now pretty well complete except for the pistons which are currently being machined.  They expect them to be installed March/April after which further steam tess will be made.  They anticipate making some long distance public runs April/May 2015.

Travel Bureau Railtours will be offering a very special steam tour to Australia to co-incide with one or more of these trips together with visits to preserved railways and steam charter trains. More details to follow.
